Glasgow is a major city with a wide range of excellent accommodation from boutique hotels and 5-star luxury to cosy B&Bs and budget-friendly hostels. The venue is within 20 minutes’ walk from a multitude of hotels – try Great Western Road or in Finnieston near the River Clyde.

The venue is about 3 minutes’ walk from Hillhead Subway station, and so if staying in the city centre, you could get to and from the venue quickly by taking a short ride (10 minutes or less) or walk (about 35 mins). The Glasgow Subway is known fondly as the ‘clockwork orange’ – it is safe and easy, having only two tracks – clockwise and anticlockwise. Both serve all stations so you can’t get lost! Any hotel near a subway station will be only minutes away but the stations of Cowcaddens, Buchanan Street and St. Enoch are less than a 10-minute subway ride to Hillhead. A single journey ticket currently costs £1.80.

The KBS Organising Committee have reserved a number of rooms at a few hotels in Glasgow at competitive rates to ensure that our conference-goers have somewhere to stay. Leonardo Royal Hotel Glasgow: Luxurious hotel with stunning city views, located at 80 Jamaica St, Glasgow G1 4QG. Average price per night of £187.00 with 75 rooms reserved. Breakfast not included. The Leonardo Royal is 20 minutes by Glasgow's subway to the conference venue.

Leonardo West End Hotel Glasgow:  Three-star hotel located in the West End offering modern and budget-friendly rooms. Average price of £120.00 per night with ten rooms reserved. The Leonardo West End is approximately a 25-minute walk from the conference venue.

Grosvenor Hotel: Elegant and historic hotel in the city centre, located at 1-9 Grosvenor Terrace, Glasgow G12 0TB. Average price per night of £195.00 with 30 rooms reserved. Breakfast not included. This is an accessible and convenient hotel that's a 10-minute walk from the conference venue.

Motel One Glasgow: Stylish and affordable option with a central location, located at 78-82 Oswald St, Glasgow G1 4PL. Average price per night of £129.00 with 50 rooms reserved. Breakfast add-on available for £13.90 per meal. The Motel One is 20 minutes away from the conference venue by Glasgow's subway.
