The main KBS Symposium (9 – 13 June 2025) will be held at the University of Glasgow’s James McCune Smith Learning Hub.
The James McCune Smith Learning Hub is a world-leading learning and teaching facility named after the prominent civil rights activist and first African American to be awarded a medical degree, awarded by the University of Glasgow in 1837. It has won numerous awards including the Education Award at the Glasgow Institute of Architects (GIA) Awards and Project of the Year, Pupil/Student Experience Award, and Highly Commended in the Inspiring Learning Spaces category at the Learning Places Scotland Awards 2021.
